One morning, Luke drew up “blue prints” on a napkin and a crew of punks proceeded to construct an enormous, “safety second” water slide off the roof. Parts of the slide included the Eagle Street half pipe. As Mark explained, “we made sure to get a carton of cigs and a case of beer before we bought any tools or lumber.” On the first test run, the slider didn’t even make it off the ramp. The following video is from the second test run. The city tore the slide down a few days later.
