About This Project
Murfreesboro, TN has a long history of musicianship, with artists playing in living rooms, bars, basements, restaurants, alleyways, etc. This website is an attempt to document that history through flyers, photos, maps, and venue profiles.
This project began in December 2023 and is intended to be a living record. It will never be complete, as the scene is still active and thriving, and the history is enormous.
